Temperature sensors and transmitters for water quality monitoring and control.
Conductivity (4-20 ma output), plus temperature
(4-20 ma output) is denoted as STs4xxxT. Therefore, if a ' T ' suffix is specified, the sensor/transmitter will have two independent, and, isolated outputs. As an example, if the unit is the STs1010T, a 4-20 ma output will be transmitted proportional to the pH on the red and black wires (channel 1), and concurrently a 4-20 ma output proportional to the temperature will be transmitted on the orange and brown wires (channel 2). The transmitters are powered individually -- if pH is the only parameter of interest at the time -- power the red and black wires -- if temperature is the only parameter needed -- power the orange and brown wires. The temperature output option should not be confused with 'automatic temperature compensation' which is a correction applied to each parameter, and is a standard feature on conductivity, dissolved oxygen and pH transmitters produced by pHionics.
