STsxxxx -- in-line
Below is a photo of the STs series applied in an insertion (in-line) application.  Note the use of the CMP34SS (3/4 inch NPT Swagelok fitting).  This allows for mounting the sensor for quick insertion or removal of the unit without compromising the anti-blowout feature afforded by the pHiKLIP system.  Also if you have forgotten to turn off the flow of the process, the union will deflect the leak away from the operator.  You simply tighten the unit again -- and turn off the flow -- disaster averted.  The cable is a high quality, polyethylene jacket, rated for submersion and burial in wet environments.  The wetted materials of construction are Kynar (PVDF), Teflon, 316SS, and Viton seals (plus electrode material).  We use only the best materials to give your application every chance of success.

STsxxxx -- submersion

The following illustration depicts the various methods for utilizing the STs series.  The submersible unit can simply be deployed in the solution of choice (river, lake, tank or effluent) by submersing the entire cable and sensor in the fluid, or if a more rigid or permanent mounting is desired, the unit can be mounted as shown on the right.  This shows a down-tube (of PVC, etc.) with a 3/4 female NPT fitting to receive the CMP34SS/o (3/4 male NPT, 316SS Swagelok compression fitting with o-ring seal).  This is a suggested method of mounting if there is the potential hazard of a mixer entangling the cable or if specific placement is required.
