multi-parameter
sensor/transmitter arrays
The STs series of
sensor transmitters may be combined in any combination to achieve the
degree of data integrity that your application demands. They can
be combined for multi-parameter or redundancy dependent upon the
criticality of your needs. The units are independent, and
therefore, if any single parameter is lost due to an unfortunate
accident, such as a fork-lift, truck or boat propeller severing a cable,
the other units will quite possibly yield some useful data.
 |
 |
 |
| For example,
if you have a one-time chance to record the conductivity of a
run-off from an April snow melt -- unattended -- at 10,000 feet -- triple redundancy of the conductivity,
plus temperature, may be appropriate (we would recommend a low range of
conductivity for this application, but we would defer to your
experience). |
 |
 |
 |
| Multi-parameter combinations
can consist of two units, plus temperature, which will fit in any tube or
well having a minimum diameter of 1.55 inches. Our radial, triple
parameter unit (four parameters including temperature) can fit in a
diameter of 1.65 inches. Our radial, four unit array (five with
temperature) has a diameter of 1.90 inches. And so on, and so
on. |
 |
 |
 |
| Our standard radial arrays go up to eight (8) sensor
transmitters, and our standard rectangular arrays go up to 12
parameters. Rectangular arrays are better suited for resting on
river beds, lake bottoms, effluent streams, etc. Tell us what you
need -- programming the CNC mill to make our quik-klipsTM
-- takes only minutes. The above and following are only a few examples of
our multi-parameter arrays.
